I know it's a song about Undercover Martyn but I picture Undercover Martyr. In the next verse when it repeats "to the basement people to the basement, many surprises await you" I picture the police coming and they know they are caught "you hid there last time you know we're going to find you" They are risking their lives and the lives of their friends or family "sick in the car sick cause your not up for going out on the main streets completing your mission" The missionary knows the risk involved.
